Frankau, Julia
(1859-1916)
   English novelist and critic. She used the pseudonym Frank Danby for her fiction. Her novel Dr Philips: A Maida Vale Idyll is a story of London Jewish life. She edited a weekly publication, Jewish Society, from 1889-1901.
